Spot on mate the 14s are a good wheel just lack abit of width so going to have them banded so I can fit a wider tyre on. Didn't realise the mk3s came with 13s. Thought the smallest wheel size on the 3s was 14s learnt something today .

I think it was just the merit that had the 13 inch wheels, my atlas e-drive was a limited edition with only 5151 built and is basically a merit with a sunroof and she also has the green tinting at the top of the windscreen which I don't think the merit had!

What wheels are they buddy? Are they banded?

They are 16” corsa d steels.

think they are 6.5j (fitted with 195s) and are et40

Had her nearly 12 years and it she has never let me down...despite the fact she has not had the TLC she deserves from me!
Bog standard Merit 1.4 auto and as basic as you can get...no power steering,but the heater is hot!!!!!

Very tidy looking car

Photo was taken a while ago pal...she is pretty rusty now and auto box playing up each morning when i go to work!
Goes into limp mode, but once engine is warmed up its okish!
Also rust has took hold around petrol filler/cap port...not sure how to tackle it as I'm no welder so tempted to bodge it!
Slight misfire from cold too and she sounds rough!!
tappety sound and no power!
It was supposed to have had a full service at my pals garage where they kept it two months...(they were so busy),but didn't do half of what i told them to do and the mechanic who worked on my car has long gone!!!
Not sure whether to throw more money at it or scrap it!(I have spent nearly £500 on it this year ...had a new catalytic converter/brake cylinder and erm fullish service on it apparently!!lol.
I was offered £300 scrap before i spent £500 on it too...car only cost me £400 odd 12 plus years ago !!
Any lads out there around notts area who can help me/advice me?

Great looking car pal and love the wheels too!
The Astra MK 3 to me at least looks better than any Hatchback past or present !!
It just has a timeless look about it and oozes class!
