Anyone know much about mobiles???

i know its not the right forum too be asking this crap, but i cant be bothered too find a mobile forum, and register just too ask this question....

i have a D500 and the bleeding things going crazy on me, been doing it for a while but more so over last week....

the thing keeps charging up by its self... well it says it does, it keeps making that noise when you plug a charger in, and the battery icon scrolls up and down like its charging.....


what the hell is going on with this phone...


if i take battery out of the phone and insert it back again, the screen pop up with "battery charging"....


is my phone hunted???

You could try getting a data cable and try Flashing it...

I've a d500 too mate, only 6months old and it did something similar, started off it was meant to have a standby time of 230hours (nearly 10days) and even when unused was goin flat within 4days, 1day it went flat, stuck it in to charge and it came up fully charged, took it out and went to use it and it wouldnt work, stuck back on the charger and it fully charged so it said, went to turn it on (removed from the charger) and it said "charging" even tho it wasnt plugged into the charger.

bit of faffing about with the fully charged and charging and all that ****, took it back to the shop under warranty, they sent it off to get fixed an I got it back with the software upgraded or rebooted or something, a new battery fitted to it and a new battery "filter" works like a dream now, still isnt lasting the near 10days before needing charged but its a lot closer now.
