arial issues

hi guys need ya yelp again, my arial has always been broken off so ive had duck tape on the inside of the hole for over a year+no radio!! ive had a look tonight and disconnected whats left of it, but theres a 3pin plug in there (red,Brown and black+white) what is that for?

any thaughts?
