Astra Arctic?

i have been looking at astra arctics recently and was looking at insurance groups on the parkers website ( http://www.parkers.co.uk/insurance/Groups/by-model.aspx?model=968 )

The Astra Arctic is a group 9 but theres an Arctic II at group 7?

i believe this is the 16v model (arctic) and the 8v model (arctic II)

can anyone confirm this?

other way about mate IIRC, Arctic I is the 1.6 8v, Arctic II is the 1.6 16v, essentially the same car apart from the engine, bar the II has electric front windows and alloys.

both come with front fogs, colour coded bumpers/mirrors, air conditioning, central locking, immobiliser, airbag, radio cassette, black interior, rear head rests, power steering,

so the 16v with alloys and electric windows is a lower group? would of thought that would be a higher group? hmmmmmm.....

i've got a very very nice condition arctic II i'm looking to sell in the next couple of weeks, it's a 98 r plate in gold with 90k and full service history

i had a artic 2 and yes they are the 16v ones and yes for some strange reson the insuriance is cheaper than a 8v one
