astra diesel problems

my astra diesel van is causing me problems
it will start and tick over constant for ages not a problem but if i drive it it will be ok for a few mins then just cut out and not start for a while
what can cause this
any help appreciated

i been tryin to sort this out today , can only get it to tick over for a while then dies
seems like fuel starvation to me but cant work out why
checked the filter and that seems fine
could it be a week pump or something
need help desperatly
