the engine is an XE running about 165bhp before it went back into this car, but its quiet and runs sweet and only done about 40k
colour is Ford Aquarious Blue, 1 of the nicest colours a company has ever put on a car (yes its even nicer than arden blue, or 'common' blue as its now known !!)

How it looked finished (photo's and spec taken from for sale thread)
SPEC
EXTERIOR
Car built from a bare shell so no rust at all, all interior panels and box sections waxoiled, underside and chassis box sections have been Schultz painted.
Reiger Infinity II wide arch kit consisting of front bumper, rear bumper, side skirts, grille and wide arches. all painted in FORD Aquarius Effect blue (interior of car and engine bay have also been painted).
De-locked and colour coded door handles fitted
Windows tinted all round (light smoke)
Rear badge removed
Fiat Punto rear wiper
Angel Eye headlights fitted into origional Astra headlights
Aerial removed
Side indicators removed
Colour coded phase 1 mirrors + base plates
INTERIOR
Calibra heated black leather seats fitted
Black carpets fitted
ALL interior plastics painted black
Door cards re-trimmed with blue upper / black lower parts
Leather steering wheel fitted
Reverse indiglo dials
All other usual GSi equipment
SUSPENSION/BRAKES
Spax suspension kit fitted (springs+shocks)
Lowered 35mm
E-Tech front strut brace
New disks + pads front and rear, also new rear handbrake shoes
Calipers painted red
New wishbones
New track rod ends
WHEELS/TYRES
Wheels are Azev 'A'
Fronts - 7.5x17 ET13 - Toyo Proxies 215/40/17
Rears - 10x17 ET14 - Toyo Proxies 245/35/17
tyres are as good as new (2000 miles old-barely worn in!!)
ENGINE
C20XE running approx 170bhp
ported/polished head
4-2-1 manifold
De-cat pipe fitted
2 1/2" straight through exhaust, middle box removed (built by powerflow) oval tailpipe
recent recon gearbox fitted - no play in gear leaver or linkage
cambelt changed 400 miles ago
head gasket changed 400 miles ago
last service 400 miles ago
water pump 2000 miles ago
doesnt tap on start up, no nasty knocks or bangs, drives very well compared to other GSi's ive owned or driven.
ICE/SECURITY
Toad Ai606 thatcham cat 1 alarm/immobiliser with total closure
Pioneer DEHP 9600 head unit (with cd changer included but not fitted)
Fly 4ch amp
Vibe 17cm components in doors
Vibe square 6x9's in MDF rear shelf
Vibe 12" sub in Vibe box with amp.
