right, as the van and corsa are both gonna be back on the road soon, im gonna see if there is any interest in our run-around. its a blue five door tds.

Good points

engine runs sweet as a nut and is the isuzu engine, so has a fair bit of poke!
has towbar fitted with electrics ( not tested)
TDS spec so has electric windows, sunroof, central locking etc
is CHEAP!
MOT until end of october
has near new glow plugs and battery
has four very good tyres and a good spare
has both keys and the leather book

BAD points

im not gonna lie, this car is not pretty at the moment!
has rust on rear arches, and several spots on the body, in particular, boot is pretty shabby!
has a dent on the wing, although this could prob be pushed out from behind
drivers side door lock is a bit tempremental, the barrel turns in its housing, so can be tricky to catch it. however, passenger side works fine!
ignition barrel is broken. the rod that connects the bit the key goes into and the actual switch has broken. we took the barrel apart and shoved some scissors in the switch. this means the key has to be put into the barrel and turned, to disengage the immob and steering lock. the scissors are then turned to start the car. LOL!
inside is pretty grubby, although i may give it a proper clean and see what happens!
bonnet has a crease in it

other than that, every thing works well. i know this car is rough, and to be honest, i dont really care whether it sells or not! just thought someone else could get the use out of it, as it has long mot left, and seems a shame to take the minor bits i need of it then scrap it! the car could be bought back to life, as its only surface rust ( with the exception of rear arch, which is worse) or could just be driven into the ground. if no-one wants it i will be taking rear seats, front indicator and a few minor bits and bobs, so the rest would be up for grabs before its scrapped. i need a base price so £500:lol: just offer me what you want!

just make me an offer! wont be available until either the corsa is back on the road. im picking the parts up tommorrow, and a guy off here is doing it for me, so by the end of next week ( hopefully) astra will be available. it also has tax until end of feb!

whereabouts you from crispy? if your close enough i'll make you an offer on it.
i need a runabout for a few months.

im near to newcastle, but i work in market drayton everyday, which is not far from you, so could meet there if interested?

yea could do, i can't offer you a lot for it though as i'm a bit skint after spending money on mine. any pics of it?
i'm defo interested.

cheers mate, it don't look too bad.

how many miles on her matey?

clocks read 200,000, but no idea if thats right. it was a BT fleet car for the first few years, so may be correct mileage. runs and starts far better than my van, which has half the miles, which is slightly annoying! like i said, overall its a good reliable car. you could drive it into the ground and then still make money back on parts. i just dont have room to do it.

ok mate, like i said let me know if he don't have it. i'll be able to match his offer but not till next week at least.

ok mate, i cant get rid until next week at least anyway, as the corsa needs to be back on road first.
