does anyone know if any mk3s came with a black headlining option?

i need to do headlining so was wondering if i can make it all black....

without paint!

None came with a black headlining, but it is easy enough to re-trim them yourself

Sure i remeber reading somewhere on one forum that autoglym do a can for spraying fabrics, not 100% sure tho.

i saw a vectra headlining done in black fabric spray before, it looked excellent. he even raided a saab for black sun visors!

hi mate,
I retrimmed mine in a sateen fabric form dunel mill i chose this because it was very light and incredibly easy to manipulate you could do it all in around 1-2 hours out and back in and the benefit with the sateen is that the fabric adhesive from the above shop will work a charm my estate cost me 15 quid all in and looks great if you would like any other info please ask

i was also thinking of covering mine, but then thought about the sun visors. but after reading this thread i noticed someone said that ones out of a saab fitted are they a straight swap?

Nope. Saab ones are a bit longer I believe so would need some new holes
