Just pullled the bump strips off my car, what do i need to get all the crap that was holdin them on off? and can i get it in halfords?

exactly. thats what i did.
3 liters of petrol, a rag, 2 credit card type cards ( first one fell apart ) and 3 hours later it was finally done.

white sprite, rag, and a nice long sunday.

you can heat it with a hot air gun and rub it off...and/or soak it in white spirit and scrape with a plastic filler card

Hot air gun works best for those horrible stripes too.

I used petrol on the bump strips, just dab it on and it eats at the rubber, you just need to pick it with your fingers or use a credit card!

angle grinder. bit severe but you wont have any of that black messy rubber cr@p left on there.

If not that some sand paper will leave similar results.

seriously though any of the above methods will be good. just depends which you can be @rsed with

Just de-stripped my old girl, and took her to the 99p car wash in town. Did a monster job of getting all that black glue off (exept o/s rear quartre which has grey sticky pads?!?!? accident damage perhaps? Nothing quite fits at that corner) Anyway give it a try - took about 1 min and its all gone. Plus the astra is shiney too.

If only i'd remembered to drop the areial it would have been perfect. Now looking for a new aerial lol.

I used tar and glue remover, apply abit of presure and it will be gone in no time at all.
