I recently converted my c14nz from single point to multi point injection and i think it might be overfueling but im not sure why. It smells of petrol in the car and around the car and seems underpowered at times. It also seems like the choke isnt coming on when it first starts up. It use to rev just over 1000revs then go to 1000 or just under once it was warm but it now just revs at just under 1000 revs when ideling on start up. Have also had to top up the coolant more than usual but this could be a totally different problem. Could this be the coolant temperature sensor? Would that be the first port of call? Any help is much appreciated. Cheers

Its not to hard if u know what your doing lol just make sure you double check everything is right as you go along. There is a very useful guide in the members section which tells you all of the parts you will need and pretty much a step by steo guide on how to do it

CTS MAP lambda will all effect fueling. If you can get replacements cheap from a scrap yard, just swap them round individually and see if it changes.

Ye might do that. Only thing with getting them from a scrap yard is that there is no guarantee that they are working. Think i might order a cts first and then go from there. Would the cts affect the idleing speed on start up like i explained? also does anyone know wherebouts it is located on the 1.4? is it on the left handside of the cylinder head?

Yeh CTS is a food start, they cause all sorts of problems. It's located on the right hand side dizzy end of the head on the MPI.

The idle speed is usually effected by the lambda being open or close loop. The ecu will idle high until the lambda is hot enough to take an accurate oxygen reading.

Okay thanks a lot mate, will giv the cts a try
