c20XE or XEV??? please help

The xev aint really that bad an engine, imo its the management/faulty sensors that mainly lets it down, but im standing tall in the xe corner as thats what will be makeing its way into my zafira when ive collected everything for the conversion..

what bits you lookin for?

Need an f23 box from an astra 2.0 turbo/dti and the o/s mount that goes in the middle of the timing belt, money is the main issue atm as this is the only place i can find that sells the mount and its not cheap..

I know but i aint got any money to give you in exchange for the box at the mo lol and your a million miles away from me so that would be more expense sorting a courier.. :-(

My ph1 GSi is the first c20xe I have owned and I have to say its a good engine but maybe a bit overhyped, I have a late xev calibra as well and for everyday driving I think it is the better engine of the 2 as its much smoother thru tge rev range. I can still see the merits of the redtop tho as there seems to be less issues with them bar the mandatory oil leak! Lol.

But if I had to pick 1 it would be the ecotec in my mk4 Astra - zlet boost is hard to beat!
