how many people have done this on here? and what did u take the parts from?

was thinking vectra fronts... calibra V6 rears? as remember mate having troubles with disc size on a vectrra rears??

Deffinately NOT anything for the rear of a Calibra. IRS stuff won't fit MK3 Astras. Cav V6 rear hub assemblies as these had rear beam setup. Front struts you can use Cav/Cally V6/Turbo.

Unsure on Vectra fitment. Most likely the same.

can you do 5 stud conversion on a 1.6 16v small block?and what would you use for that and what car to source from?is it the same.

It is possible, but you have to get custom driveshafts made up,so that one end matches the small block engine the the other matches the big block hubs. Thats the main thing i think, maybe a few other lil bits needed.

Corrent, it's the CVs and the number of splines on the shaft. But yeah, if you got drive shafts re-cut with the correct number of splines on the outters, then you'd be able to fit big block CVs. Or you could get custom made CVs.

Also for the rears use the whole beam from a v6 cavvy but it has to b a hatchback model not a saloon.

It's easier to swap hub assemblies than to mess around with beams. Also, you have to bare in mind that the Cavalier's rear track is 20mm wide. Might cause issues with some wheels.
