HI folks,
Been looking at these road angel, gatso detection, radar blocking jobbies. Just wondered if any of you use them, which ones, do they work etc?

Also most tend to look a bit numb, like a cheap walkman slapped on the dash. Anyone seen any descreet ones??
 
I have a road angel compact and they are really good a love mine its saved my liscence soooooo many times you can only just see it in this pic in the far left corner it does the job you can get a little attatchment that sits on the top which picks up the hand held cameras.

:laugh: Took the words right from my fingertips... my mate has the one from asda (no idea on make lol, cost him £70) it works on all fixed and mobile cameras :) going to get mysefl one next month i think
 
I've the snooper S4 neo and its a godsend , it managed to find a hidden camera (behind a wall) :rolleyes: in reading in a 30 zone , which the guy in front of me got flashed .

They are worth their weight in gold :nod:
 
the best solution to avoiding speed cameras is very simple dont speed in areas your not familiar with or where you know there could be cameras

that may not be always the case, as some places have very little indication on when it switches from 30 -40 apart from if you remember to notice the lampost spacing etc. :rolleyes:
 
Its not so much the speeding factor. The road angel notifys you of schools and accident blackspots and hand held laser sites.

Not that i speed every where but every now and then i catch my self doing 40 in 30s and its just a subltle reminder of what you should be doing
 
The one i will be getting for mine eventually is the Origin B2, it's one of the few that will only warn you of cameras that are monitoring the direction you are travelling in, so for example if the camera is getting traffic coming towards you, it won't tell you about the camera as you don't need to worry about it
 
i have a snooper s3 its the baby of the s4 not as much fancyness but does the same job i hardly use mine now, really could do with using it its costing me £5 a month to update
 
I don't know if they will work stoner, but I am sure the regulations are different in the US compared to the UK. I seem to remember reading somewhere that you aren't allowed to have a unit that transmits a certain type of signal.

If its the same make as ones on sale here it should be ok I presume...

Others might be able to shed light on this too.

I would definately find out for sure before buying though dude...
