Some of you may have seen the red astra in the background of some of my pictures with my old GSI wheels on. This belonged to a mate over the road who was a pain in the backside to begin with (Astra Alex and Kelly have met him)
But I had got to know him over the last year and didnt realise how much I had grown to like him as a friend until tonight.
This was because tonight I have been informed that he died of a massive epileptic fit in the middle of last night and he wasnt discovered as dead until 7pm this evening
His two springer spaniels had sat next to him all day so quietly that it was assumed he was out or asleep.
He was 55 . . . .
So next time you are watching F1 or working on your car just give him a brief thought, he gave so much help to other people and turned out to be a genuinely nice guy.
There isnt really anyone to remember him, I wanted to do something for him
