Early c20xe exhaust valves..

I've just had to order 2 exhaust valves for my early c20xe,long story but two were bent,anyway,ones that came out have 3 grooves on the end of the stem for the collets,just noticed ones I've ordered have only 1,although says there for xe's. And another seller (on eBay by the way) is selling some with 3 grooves like mine,have I got the wrong ones? Both said for xe's??
