engine swap... cat needed?

when i swap the theengine to the v6 adecat pipe will be made to suit the downpipe onto my exhaust.

question it when i go for the mot will a cat need to be fitted for the emissions?

the car is a 96 1.6 16v with a cat atm

Should go on the year of the engine, but iirc all v6's were made after 92 so would need one, course depends how well you know your local mot tester

way im thinking is that one end is a 3 stud and then goes to a 2 stud. the way that the flanges are looks like it should go on

yes one end that goes to down pipe is a 3 stud and the end that goes to centre section is 2 stud
