Hi guys, fitted goodridge braided brake hoses today, the fronts have no ridge in the union for the securing clip to go in so the nut part of the hose is just free to slide about in the bracket a little, also there is no slack at all in the hose when on full lock, and just seems a little tight for my liking, just wondered if anyone else has come across the same thing? its on a phase 2 gsi with calibra turbo front calipers.

hmm different calipers mayb your problem there. i ave goodridge on my gsi but that is standard calipers front n rear. mine fitted fine and no tightenness front and rear

any idea what part number your kit was dave? it says on my invoice its sva0550-4p, i'm convinced they must be wrong cos it has to be secured in the bracket and the clips dont fit

i think when you upgrade you brake calipers you need to use lines that we're designed for the car they came off.

So you need Cali Turbo lines. They're probably longer.

err i would really no to behonest as i throu the packet away :sorry:.
ave a look in ebay as any phase 1 gsi kit will be the same. that should give u a number but like kev said, longer hoses for bigger caliper so the union will defo be the same and it its the same claiper end they should pop straight on
