Headlight adjustment ?

Took my headlight out yesterday to replace the lamp and now it faces up in the air slightly.

Now is it supposed to do this being the passenger side or can i adjust it ?

you might have put the bulb in the wrong way round. check that, as i did it, and cudnt see a thing when was driving in the dark! easiest is to park in front of a wall to check, failing that, yea u can adjust it, its at the back of the headlight, black box thing, should turn like a screw... i think it just changes the angle on the reflector at the back of the headlight(?)

Theres a screw on the top of the headlight .

I though they would only go in one way, 3 locating lugs ?

try the screw, i may be thinking of something else. yea, theres 2 ways the lugs fit, im sure. my mate informed me and took the bulb out and fitted it the other way round. try it and see mate

There are 2 screws... one on top, and one on side somewhere - for height and side angles.

Daz - know any cheapo garages where I can get mine done? They're both pointing to the floor about 6' in front of me, and very useless!

you tryed the electronic adjuster in the car to level them ?

the thing is , it sits up at the left side but no on the right .

Sits at an angle like this /

is the headlight located properly? check to make sure it is before you go adjusting things!

ok, as you look at the back of the headlight unit, there is a BLACK box on the right hand side of the passenger light, left hand side of the drivers. This has a knob on it. turn this to move/change the direction of the headlight.

I havent touched the black box and it was ok before i changed the lamp
