Well 2night coming home from work, i pushed the car hard round a roundabout, then entering a car park just after the handling on that side was sloppy and bouncy, i first thought i had a flat tyre but no all fine with tyre pressure spot on. Got home took it out for a test drive again and still sloppy handling and bouncy and jelly like. Opened bonnet and the top mount on that side has given up the go. The rubber it completely split all the way round. Would this cause my handling issues,

If so more the better reeason to lower it slightly

might have a full kit forsale soon:P

is this wat we wer talking bout the other nite :P

what you meant kev? what we were taslking about? or you mean me talking up top suspension going through bonnet. things is im driving it to southend

your strut top mounts if like that can cause your shocks to come through them, get them changed asap, and yeah this will be why, could also be your shocks though but as they need changing imo i would change the top mounts, autovaux do them, and when you do them change the bearing too

Ben come to mine tomorrow ill be taking my struts off i can give u a hand, u need to get some strut top mounts though, go to your local motor factors i managed to get a set for £30 but when i went back to get just one they tried charging me £50 saying they dont come single anymore.

you will need an impact driver to to get the bolts off the shocks that hold thestrut top mounts on, the shock will just turn when you try undoing it, unless you got some good clamps to grip the shock insert while you undo the nut

Or if u have a socket set with a hole in the middle with another socket set with a long extension to go through the hole lol, like i have :)
