Have ypu had the fuel filter off? If so did you fill it up with fuel? Also have you had the leakoff pipes off the injecters as they never seal if you put old ones back on. May be a simple fiix before the mk3oc vultures start circling

did you have any issues with the way she ran before you stripped her ?
she lives iv had a sputter into life but had to kill engine instantly as theres currently no rocker cover on not being broken up just lost heart when she wouldnt run
