MK3 "PILVEKE"

Hi! My name is Clen and i am from Estonia. I own 1995 Opel Astra F with 1.6 74Kw engine. I named it to "PILVEKE" it means "CLOUD" or "CLOUDY" in Estonian. Since im planning Engine swap, then i tought that i will make my little diary about the car, and the upgrades about it now and then.
It all startet about month ago, when i bought this car from my relative for 550€. i`ve been always Astra fan, especially MK3. The car is almost in good shape. Has little rust here and there but it does not worry me. But the engine is pretty much done for now. Under the car there is only one small hole, but im going to fix it soon.
Upgrades so far:
- U.S style parking lights, which is actually illegal in my country,
- Sport Exhaust, luckily it does not have Riced out sound. Smooth and quiet
- Yellow Beam lights, which is illegal too in Estonia for some reason.
- Tinted front lights
- Tinted windows (back of the car)
- Car is repainted, roof is colored black

But there is more to change

Upgrades needed:
- Engine swap. 1.6 to 2.0 85kw or 110kw FSI
- Tinted rear lights
- Maybe GSI bumpers, depends how i like it on my car
- New Wheels. Thinking of Ronal Sport or BBS RS Replica (cant afford the real wheels)
- Custom Grill

So i will stay updated when im going to fix/tune/change something.

Thank you! had to look for some club tho, We only have Opel Omega club or Calibra club. Astra is not very common in my country, It is mostly sold as a how to i say, car for young people to use on country roads or dirt rally. Only nice looking Astras i know are mine and one is Caravan 110kw FSI. Others are pretty much rusted to death Pardon my English

Sooo, I have been gone for a long time, but on the weekend i somehow managed to blow my transmission. I only have 1st, 3rd and 5th gear. There is hole in transmission. But hey, it happens. So i will basically change the engine next month when i get my payday. Going to mount in 2.0 85kw 8v engine and F18 transmission. And i have to fix the hole under the car too. so now i got plenty of work.

Yes true, but i was already thinking about scraping it, but then i remembered that i have many memories with the car.
