My estate project

cheers guys. all i gotta do when i get it back is fit it, probably means drilling the hinges as it's off a phase 1:rolleyes:
 
29l keramic blue(spelt with a k but pronounced "ceramic" and it's mettallic.
 
getting my bonnet and grill back today as it's all been finished:whoo: :bounce:

at last me and my dad fitted the bonnet and grill today, after a bit of drilling, pushing/pulling and a lot of swearing this is the outcome.......

the paint's a bit darker than the rest of the car but i can live with that.
 
tell me about it, a lot of opening/closing and adjusting the bolts.:rolleyes:
went through 3 drill bits aswell.

You'll never get stuff like that perfect, to make the bonnet look less "new" you would have to sray in the top half of the wings!

at least its on and out the way matey. one less thing to worry about :beer:
 
yeah i wasn't sure about it when i brought it but i couldn't turn it down for £30. i was having trouble trying to find a standard gsi bonnet so i snapped it up, it does help keep the engine a bit cooler.
 
looks good. how much did they charge to do the bonnet?
