mate in his fiesta zetec S traveling along a 30mph road when a black VRS comes up behind him and tail gates him. so my mate, un aware thats its a cop car drops it 2 second and goes 40 to increase the unsafe gap. Soon as he does so, blue lights on and pulls him over.

now u tell me how the hell a standard zetec S can do 60 in second is beoyond me utter pricks the lot of them. even got myself a copy of the laws in a book ( off my mum who works at a police station as a cleaner ) and i keep it in my glove box at all time.

FORUM IDEA: would i be an idea to make a list of unmarked police cars like on other foums, means we know what cars to watch out for

Why should we need a list? if your not breaking the law what do you have to hide?

If they are that much of a pest, like what you happened to your friend. Then you take thier badge number the car registration plate and then go make a formal complaint down at the police station.

if u fly past a T5 doin well over the speed limit then jently tug on ur hand brake (no braske lights)(and i kno not good for ur car). them things have cameras front and back so can produce evidence in court that u braked when passing them, thats the only way they can get u when going the other way (with being traffic cops they can say that due to there expieriance they can estimatethat u were speeding!!, unless u dont break an ur doing the speed limmit when they catch up to u) theres no other way they can prove it, so all get strechin ur handbrake cables if u dont wanna get points lol

I agree with Lou esp as most forces change their unmarked cars every couple of months, as this stops people knowing what they are. If your that worried then you'll have to learn what look out for as there's always some tell tale signs of an unmarked car

Thats just dangerous really as if you pull slightly too hard and lock the wheels you can kiss goodbye to your car esp if doing speed

No doubt the police have a dislike to any thing that has a growl and wanna pull it, I do know that they can stop you with only one copper in the car but cant do anything else. There only has to be 2 if they wanna charge you, warn you or search you (Also they have to be wearing there hats if they are)

They do also have to put there car through a saftey check everytime it leaves the station and you are entitled to ask if it has, if it hasn't been checked you can send them packing. but that aint to say that if you are stopped and their brake light is out that it aint been checked before they left the station, it might of happend after they left, and pointing it out is more likely to make them angry and try to do you for anything they can.

A shocked look and a "sorry officer I didnt realise" is more likely to get you sent on your way with a slapped wrist, you give them sh!t and they will pile back on you

to which you are entitled to ask them to change it, which they are not allowed to do on the spot iirc so they will need to return to the police station to have it checked.

same way they can tell you to do the same and have done to a mate of mine. they followed him to a petrol station and made him change it. if he refused the copper was going to give him a fixed penalty notice (£30 fine i think)

just because they wear a badge and are a police oficer doesnt make them above the law and doesnt make them imune to the same laws they can do us with. simple

Thats a stupid uninformed answer, They slow down your ability to think fast, no matter what you think you are capable of doing, Driving under the influence of drinks or drugs is stupid and idiotic, and thats speaking as the former friend of someone who hung himself after a long amount of years on that sh1t and whos wife was very nearly killed by a drunk driver.

To be honest,iv been pulled twice. Once was for not having a rear number plate,as it had fallen off and i hadnt got round to fixing it. The officer just said to get it sorted tonight and that if he sees it off again he will fine me. The other was when i was making progress on a chinese delivery and got followed for a while by an unmarked car. They got right up my bum in the end and kept flashing me,so i pulled over,wound the window down and waited for the officer to come over. They just said that they had been following me for some time,and noticed that i hadnt been keeping to the speed limit. They just asked what i was doing out,and said that they couldnt smell alcohol on me,and to be carefull and note that the local Police are using completely standard looking cars. They pulled me in a phase 1 Vectra C LS. No alloys or fancy stuff at all. So although i have been pulled,iv not had any problems with the Police.

nope i lost my licence for driving with no insurance. have been very close to being done for drink driving ... no one is a saint and no one has been making out they are. the way you go on about smoking dope and driving is ok and you will do what you want when you want IS the wrong attitude. yes its a forum but the forum doesnt need people like you giving it a bad reputation
