has anyone got powerflex bushes fitted what they like ?
what are they like to fit
and whear is best place to get them from cheers woody

fitted them to my old astra, easy enough to fit just a pain to get old ones out, i made a homemade puller to get the old ones out. they do stiffen up the front end but dom had a problem where the bushes were harder than the wishbone and ended up wearing through the metal and wishbone snapped. although they was not genuine wishbones.

i had genuine wishbones and never had a problem. also dom loves high speed so didnt help

my complete car is polybushed, easy enough to fit if im honest. Cant remember where i got mine from but helped stiffen it all up.

I have a powerflex bush here in my hand and theres no way its harder than metal, there's still give in it. Polyurethane can't be harder than the metal used to make the wishbones anyway. Was it the metal sheeve that wore out the wishbone? I take it the bushes were "too" hard for the pattern wishbones?

Anyway I've read many threads about this and they all say to use genuine wishbones, some people say the wishbone cracked and others say the bushes didn't fit very well. Either way they're unsafe so Gm wishbones ftw. I bought some before xmas, cost me €260
