you have been busy haven't ya! how much was ur flip out screen if you dont mind me asking, as im thinking of doing exactly the same thing, and putting it above the radio. either that or mounting in the glove box, but i have to figure out how it will work...

The screen was £77 fom goold old ebay
i was also thinking of a screen in the glove box, but abvoe the radio seemed a better idea, as there is east access to constant live, ignition live, earth and illumination off the back of the radio ISo plug
All i got do now is wait for delivery and start chopping the hole about

Thank you, the consol will be a longer term project as 1 screen is enough for now!
but hopfully when i get round to finishing it, all the door cards and interior plastics will be sprayed black (gloss black) and i will have my phase two dash in, (black) so hopfully it will be sprayd black too yea

UPDATE

my dash screen came

so i had to get all the feckin dash out, waht a mission

vauxhall really didnt want you to remove this bit! as nearly all the dash had to come out 4 me to get at it!

see! lol


So after a bit of cuttin and shavin, and hitting with many different sized hammers!
The unit fits

Rear view - its sat in where the old lcd screen was, that tells you the time and temp and date etc!

Not the neatest, but as you cant seee it, i dont giv 2 flyin fuks!

was bit of a pain in the a55 but if you follow haynes! and a bit of common sense, as in if u pull it and it dont go, theres a screw in it!, then its not too bad!

the screen does create a lot of cramped cabling behind there tho!

*repaint sunroof surround
*repaint grill
*lower
*rewire ice
*WIRE IN MY SODDING REV COUNTER WITCH IS BEING VERY GHAY!
*wire in and secure dvd player (as my pc idea is taking longer than expected)


then


*look for different interior
or
*look for different seats n dash and custom spray the rest!!!

update!!

exhaust and rev counter!

havnt got any pics of me doing the exhaust as it was freezing!

but here it is

and i finnaly got a proper rev counter that fits in with the rest of the dials

piccs!

new and old dials - i hav swapped the speed clocks so the milage is correct!
