Ok i wired up my alarm to the indicators so they flash on lock/unlock. now i have realised that when i use my indicators for signalling left or right both come on.

i have been told to connect the alarm to the rear lights and not the front. will this make any difference?

if so am i correct in saying the wiring for the rear lights runs down the drivers side inner sill. if so what colours should i be looking out for?

thanks

John

Your alarm is obviously ment to be wired to the side light not indicators. It doesn't matter where you connect them up it will still do the same

You can still wire them up to the indicators but with some 5amp diodes connected up

You can use any 4000 series rectifier diodes, if they haven't got these in stock, but I always use 1N5408.
If you also use a couple on the rear lights you can have four brake lights by having the rear fogs come on with the brake lights but still work on thier own independently when switched on.

just checked wiring diagram and you have to connect it to poss on the indicators with a 7.5amp fuse

tried that, didnt work

already have the front hooked up to full beam, might try this too and **** every one off

I am sure the fogs probably does **** some off, especially if they are sat up your **** like a chavved up boy racer!!
It might even make them back off ?
