rear exhaust mounting

had to get some welding done on the rear chassis rails on my 1998 1600gs astra hatchback. anyway the deal was i would take off the rear box and the fella would do the welding. sod of a job getting the box off but what i missed was the outside mounting came off with the box. trying to work out if its attached to the chassis or the below wing part. with getting the welding done theres no marks. looking from the rear its the near side or outer. thankyou very much. steve.

its outside of the chassis leg, closest to the outside of the car if u get me
