Saloons?

Would a 5 door hatchback interior (front and rear seats and doorcards) fit in a 4 door saloon?

Im assuming the doors are the same so the doorcard would be fine as would the fron seats but what about the rears?

everything should be identical - same mounts and everything.

Saloon only differ from the 5dr from the C pillar back.

i know its not interior but didnt want to start another thread!

would the rear suspension and exhaust be the same as a hatch as well?

Suspension, yes. Exhaust, No. The centre section of the exhaust is the same but the back box seciton is longer.

so could you take a hatch back box and weld an extension in and maybe mod the hangers and it would fit?

Yes.

Are you talking about an aftermarket backbox? Coz i have a spare standard 2.0 8v back box i bought for my saloon but have no use for.

no i dont even have an astra yet just been looking at a saloon locally and was wondering a few things!
