second hand windscreen??

As I've had a rather unfortunate encounter with a pheasant, leaving a massive crack (and a dollop of sh!t ) and I'm between jobs at the mo I need a cheap option to replace my windscreen.

Is it posible to use one from another mk3?? I know some car windcreens pretty much have to be smashed to remove them, is this the case with a mk3??

I have a m8 who has a m8 who works for autoglass and would do it cheap but I'd have to supply the glass. Can it be done??

its alot of effort though, for 50quid wont you insurance replace it?

wouldnt trust a 2nd hand windowscreen it could save ur live if new or cost you it for a few quid......

there not expensive for new ones
think i was quoted £80 for 1 fitted for my punto gt

that's cos puntos are **** and aren't worth much more than that, it's around £130- 150 for an ashtra one homie.

as I'm between jobs Ive downgraded the insurance so I aint covered, I only changed it a few weeks ago

I'm only lookin for a cheap fix for the mo, I intend on gettin a new 1 as soon as I get work.
