what brakes ya got as standard are not too good with 136bhp let alone 220 say!!

Well the guy i got the car from rekons its 240hp and its got standard brakes on it lol,but it stops fine

you sure its not spec blue mate ??

mine is ceramic blue as was a extra option but you can only tell the difference real close up!!

i so much want a turbo : - (

only phase 1's were spectral blue slappy.. as far as im aware

should get her on the rolllers make sure its fuelling everything ok ive seen far too many melted LET engines in the past due to incorrect fueling,

im in glasgow mate.

we need to arrange a phase 2 GSI photoshoot ;)
 
mines ceramic blue as was a extra when me car was bought!
i know this as got receipt for the car all 17k for it : - (
what to do if i sell mine i could by a let already done but there are not many phase 2 lets about : - (

what does the insurance cost ya mate??
 
ill have to get a look at it next time im down in ayr, my cousin works at doonfoot garage just round from dp motorsport if, so hopefully get a look at it soon
 
so how much quicker is it to say type r mate??

i had a J reg mk3 turbo before my current one had fun and owned quite a few cars

Clutch change!:doh:Started to slip on me last week,so had to for out for a new one.I was going to book it into a garage to get done,but my mate said it wouldnt be that bad,so we set about it,me forgetting mk3's have a subframe,im still to used to the mk2 lol.On taking the subframe off one of the bolts had rounded,treid everything to get it out,but ended up having to get the grinder out!In the end we got it and called it a night.Next night was time to take the box out,the F28 weighs a ton!Especially when your working on the floor,out it came,took the clutch out and its fooked and on top of that it was the original gsi clutch!:oSo brand new turbo clutch back in,gear box back in now that wasnt playing,finding it hard to line up but got it in the end.All back together and a new subframe bolt lol.What a difference with no dragging and no slipping the car feels more reponsive now.HAPPY DAYS :lol:heres some pics.

Also changed the breaks and painted the caliper and strut
