Just got an email for my car they want to know if i am still selling it @£1500 what should i do should i sell it or keep it
 
my g/f just sed that better the devil ya know than the devil ya dont,i might be a bit pushy and tell em i want 2k...pmsl
 
lol asking to be sent to another country and they will pay the shipping? all done through western money transfer or cheque?

if your selling it only accept cash

Yeah! but you could find a gsi quite easily,you try find and astra estate 1.8 sport in the condition mine is in and with the amount of cash ploughed in lately.You wont,I know cos i have spent months looking for one so i can get a valuation comparison...any way i aint got nowt to lose and i am not really as desperate to sell the car now ,but if it goes for 2k i will have a mk3 gsi.lol

You could get 2 gsi's for that, and...well i think they are much better unless its for work.

Was gonna say the same mate, was it along the lines of i'll give you £3000.
and then you pay for the shipping outta that and any extra you keep.

Had that from someone last year. Told em if they want it, to come here with
cash. never heard from them again.
 
thats why i asked if they wanted to pay by western money transfer or cheque, will all go into your bank, the cheque will even clear but will get taken back out again. best thing you can do is take the cheque and give it to the police :nod:

i think your right after speaking to ian earlier i went and had a look at the ad again and clicked the beware of fraud bit and some of the examples where near as dammit the same as e-mail as i recieved so thanks ian and everyone else for your valuable help.:nod: :nod: :nod: :nod: :nod:
 
If your cars not advertised for sale and someone emails you about it, always be aware.

i sold my corsa aaaaaages ago now and still get people e-mailing me about it. Dont know what to do about it really, ignoring them at the moment but if i can think of a way to cost them money then damn it i will :lol:

I have decided not to sell the car as i would lose too much money after recently spending approx £1500 i would have to sell @ £2000 just to break even,i should have deleted the ad i will do so in the next day or so many thanks.
