i was reading in last months fast and modified that those average speed scamerascan only calculate if you stay in the same lane between the 2 cameras i.e if you go through the 1st one on the inside lane then go through the second one on the outside lane it wont register, any1 know any more about this (theres loads of em round me)

No, the cameras scan the width of the carriage way, they aren't pointing at any particular lane.

Even if there were seperate cameras, they'd all be linked into the same system.

On multie camera systems they can still only monitor one lane, and there is no link between the different lanes as their type approval by the home office doesn't allow them to monitor multiple lanes

is their a website that lists all the locations of these cause ive got a feeling their is a set on the way to work but dont know where the second set are been their 3 months so no chance ive been caught just want ot check in case i have to go further down the motorway

you can also clearly see which lane they are pointing at. i.e on the M2 earlier they have 2 cameras covering 3 lanes, and typically covering the middle and fast lane.

they on they m1 (cos i got caught there doing average of 52mph at 6:30am) and they got them at junction 25 of M25
