I was half tempted to leave it in. Until I test drove it round the block and was making a horrible grinding noise and the clutch wouldn't depress properly.

I drove one of my other mk3's down.
So the other half drove this down for me.
Managed to lose the driver side wing mirror cover tho trying to keep up with me. (@ 70mph of course)

Not just me that likes to get there money's worth then.
Yeah mine was the same.
Was starting to get some funny looks when pulling up at lights etc.
So thought I'd better change them.

Was it easy getting the claw off? The allan bolts were seized shut here.

Quick squirt of wd and I use the breaker bar.
Had problems in the past so go straight to the bar now.

Yeah it does shif well now. (For a old derv)
Clutch starting to slip a bit tho.
Don't think it can handle the power. Either that or it was on its way out anyway.

Did you end up putting another clutch in it ?
Been thinking about an uprated one. But been told a standard one will be fine.
Hopefully mine doesn't kill the box.
Got a couple of f20's on standby anyhow.
Know anyone that's run an f20 on one ? How are they
One of the lads had a 28 on one and said it was a waste of time.
1st was no good he said. Practically set off in second everywhere.
