So with the weekend over we would love to get some feedback from you guys about the club stand and also the show in general so we can give this infomation back to LMF / VBOA.

We ask for this as we want to make YOU happy and with your support / feedback we can do this to make it a great event for all. If we can have anything you liked, anything we can improve on or anything you hated just give us it all.

All I ask is that can you please make it constructive & not petty like we have seen from others (non mk3oc affiliated I must say) about trivial things regards the show.

So If you can cut and paste the below filling it out that would be amazing

Mk3oc Stand Feedback -

New for this year was bringing a club bbq for us all to cook on and make it bring us all together I think this worked great as did the gazebo of a night. We where unsure how saturday night would work with no fair but my thoughts are possibly next year some games like giant jenga, sports day challenges etc then some music (at a restricted volume naturally) later on.

Think we need to impose times to be on the stand for members as for sunday votes need to be in for 1230 I think and if you turn up later on you havent much chance to be nominated sadly so I feel its a little unfair on them!

Bad things club wise? Cant really think of any as we where all tidy, respectful and helped everyone from what I could see, If I am wrong tell me please.

For having 8 months to get it started from scratch I have to say they did bloody fantastic. I know we didnt use them but organising local take aways to deliver to us if we wanted was a great idea.

The club stands need to be looked at size wise and the space in the middle reduced as it was a wide open space for nothing it seemed really.

The facilities it was a new venue and the unknown. Not sure anyone else noticed but the number of portaloos changed at various places as they got chopped and changed about. Friday near the manta group they had 2 cubicals and they where overflowing so that got re addressed to 5/6 and wasnt a issue then that I know of. Showers I didnt use as I was advised that they stopped working so cant comment on these. The reason behind no showers being elsewhere or "luxury loos" elsewhere is they need to have plumming for waste which cant be done elsewhere sadly but if fed back can be looked at i guess. Think as it got so dark some solar lights on top of the loos would mean you know where they are or something that similar way you can find them / see what your doing.

The band on saturday I really enjoyed think it was a great idea and really hope this continues. Prehaps if any clubs have bands in you could invite them to play to like a battle of the bands night or free mic night prehaps.

Over all I loved it more relaxed and enjoyable than billing - less flys also due to less water. highlight for me was seeing the red arrows and the lancaster bomber!

Really Enjoyed the setup, this of course was the first proper car show i have been too. The Gazebo worked really well, and was great during the day when the sun was out. The night time illumination was great. I think next year i will bring something for the BBQ, seemed to go really well and everyone got on and had a good laugh. I personally suffer from anxiety and become anti-social at events like this, but the atmosphere was as such that it didn't crop up at all, which for me says good things.

Maybe next year the giant jenga would be interesting, suppose something to look at would be all the music we played on my ipad was from spotify, I had a VBOA playlist for the drive down, so could make it public and others could add to it...

All the Organisation was excellent, no waiting to get in. Facilities where great, personally didn't use the showers. Some lighting could have been helpful in the portaloos at night, tho i just used a torch. Really enjoyed the band on the Saturday night. Only suggestion was in the case on sunday when we had to get first aid, would be if there was a channel they could say the clubs could use for emergencies like that, if clubs where to bring there own walkie talkie or if there was a number to call, it was okay for us being close-ish to the main gates but it'd be a trek from the other end of the field.

Over all, really positive experience, cant wait for next year.

I think this year is the most organised we've been as a club, we're slowly getting the equipment we need and want to make it a nice stand. Plus we were more on the ball with the awards, although there's plenty of changes I want to make there, to make it easier and fairer for voters, we may even do an online vote next year which can be multiple choice, if you guys thing that would be any good for you all.

But overall as a club we have plenty more ideas for improvement next year based on knowing what the new venue is like and where we're located.

The club BBQ worked very well, it meant more of us were cooking and eating together rather than being split apart, and everyone clearly had a great time and got on very well. Was great to see new faces with us too!

Despite not having a lot of cars, mostly down to personal circumstances for a large number of members who usually attend in their Mk3's, the stand still got a lot of attention from the cars that did show up, and as a club there was plenty of us and we had a great time.

Next year can only get better as we will have more cars and can improve the club stand from what we know this year.

Having been at the meeting where Steve at LMF first announced to us what he was proposing, I knew it was going to be good. Steve is a fantastic guy, and had pretty much hit the nail on the head from the start, and it only improved from there. He's always been approachable and very open to ideas and feedback and this has shown over all the planning involved.

Obviously one of the big topics of the weekend was the toilets, personally I couldn't really complain about them at all. I never had to queue for more than about 30 seconds, and they were kept clean. A few more wouldn't hurt for next year, and the possibility of them being emptied twice a day on Saturday as they did seem pretty full by the end of the day!

As Kev mentioned, some lighting would have been good, especially in the toilet areas. Although it wasn't a massive issue as I'm sure 99% of people owned a torch of some sort.

I think they need to allocate some entrances into the square, to prevent people from having to drive through other club stands (mostly ours it seems) to get through. Club stands all seemed a reasonable size, we can always ask for more space for next year though when we let them know our numbers. I quite liked the square layout, it meant visitors could walk right round and see everything, and the open space in the middle didn't really bother me.

The band on in the evening were pretty good, and I know Steve booked Dodgems to be there, unfortunately they never turned up, but something like that would be great to have as a confirmed booking for next year.

Security onsite were fantastic, had a great presence always looking round and they were very friendly and approachable.

Other than that, I am struggling for any more constructive criticism as it was a fantastic weekend, plenty to do, plenty to see and just a fantastic weekend.

The club bbq was a fantastic idea with kev and Nige taking it in turns to cook everyone's food for them. As we're the 2 pop up gazebo's and the fire pit. I think we could do with a 3rd gazebo next year with only a few of us in attendance this year, but with us all using it we pretty much filled it. And was the only place to keep out the sun too.

The music went down great at night with a few drinks. We wasn't short of a few laughs

Would love to have the stand in same location next year, but if we could extend out a little more

Few more portaloos in the large open spaces. At night had to make sure to take a torch so could see what you was doing inside the toilet...

The one whole shower block wasn't working at all when I tried it Saturday morning. But the next trailer block was working. Can only think it was a water issue as the posh loos had no water to flush and wash hands when I used them and had to embarrassingly explain to the next in que waiting to use them Saturday morning.

More posh loos by the showers would be a bonus too.

Had a fantastic time and prefer the new venue to the old! Excellent planning and very helpful and friendly staff, a credit to Steve and team! Band was a brilliant idea Saturday night. Looking forward to next years

Stand feedback:

No complaints at all. Barbecue was a great idea and we had a great atmosphere.

Perhaps have a small collection from the attending members next year and get another gazebo to extend the existing ones.
Games are a good idea as mentioned.
Hopefully we get the same spot next year.

Lmf vboa feedback:

Again no complaints. Thought they did it really well. Few more toilets would be a bonus and some lighting as mentioned.
Had a great shower on Saturday and ran out of water on the sunday shower, not a complaint just an observation. At busy times could perhaps use another couple of shower blocks. Overall very good though I think.
I met steve from lmf and he was very approachable and freindly and I'm sure he'll have a few good ideas for next year too.

Stand feedback:

Only thing that I thought is a shame we never had more cars considering how many MK3's are about and the quality of some of the cars on here.

Was well laid out though and easy to spot

Lmf vboa feedback:

More bins
More trade and drink stands
Maybe close the centre gap, seemed very spread out

However as a first year at a new site its only relatively minor, was a fantastic show and excellent value, some quality cars and stands. Seemed very well organised

Stand Feedback:

Nothing negative here, think you did a grand job! Gazebo lights were ace, BBQ was a great idea (I can't cook, and the wife doesn't like BBQs, or I would have stuck some meat on).

I didn't think things through regarding phone charging, did have Genny but didn't seem worth getting it out just to change my phone!

VBOA feedback:

I used showers Sat & Sun mornings. Possibly the same cubical both times as the light didn't work. Minor inconvenience, but no enough to swap cubicals! No real complaints.

Loos were kept cleaner than expected, no long waits.

Site was laid out well, I liked the perimeter track. I think the gap in the middle could be closed a bit, to make walking less, and as once club was pretty much in another field!

Generally very happy.
