What brakes fits mk3 astra saloon

I know brake calipers fit mk3 astra from 2.0 cavalier/calibra ect.. But am unsure about vectra or omega v6 brakes fitting on astra is it just a simple case of 4 stud disks rather than 5 studs or is there a lot more to it than just disks

Yea you can use Vectra B 2.5 V6 discs and calipers, you just need to re-drill the disc to 4 stud. There's a template in the Usefull Info section for doing this

But can I not just buy 4 stud disks rather than drilling a set of 5 studs disks

The only 4 stud discs in the correct size (288mm) that I know of are about £100 for a pair from LMF, whereas you can get a set of 5 stud ones from your local motor factors for about £35 for a pair and re-drill them yourself.

All just put 256mm ones on then I dont want the fuss of drilling 288mm disks when 258mm ones fit straght on, But thanks for advising me on what work is envolved on v6 brakes.
