Im pretty sure Audi's 4x4 system is FWD until it suspects wheels spin,then it sends power to the rear.And if im being honest its 1 of the ****test 4wd systems.But id still have 1 in a flash.

P.S the facelift models are actually 225bhp standard.Pre-facelift is 210.

Yea there's always some power at the rear wheels but it's all variable. I'm finding the 4wd system amazing, spun all 4 wheels a few times now, good fun.

not all facelift models are 225 only the ones with BAM engine mines got the AMK which is 210, but thats a good thing as it falls into the lower tax bracket

I've got the rolling road print out to prove it but I'm not convinced thats at the wheels though couldn't tell you what map its got but it was mapped by power engineering. I'm happy enough though, can't complain.

was looking into the tax too and cars registered after may 2001 have to pay for the emmisions it emits not the engine size that would be £400 a year

according to direct.gov website it falls into the lower bracket (band F) as it emits 223g/km not the 225 required for the higher bracket (band G) so I only pay £210 a year, result!!
