when i bought my astra gsi the guy said it had a stage 3 chip and a set of kent fast road cams. Is this a good mix or a bad mix?... im not sure what stage should be used 1,2 or 3?

XE or LET? Either way it should be pritty good.
Xe, I just want to no untill my let is fitted. i do know the xe that is in there is mega lumpy on idle it revs up and down on its own when its cold but not to bad when its hot but still lumpy. any idea what it could be?
Lumpy running mite be the cams but i would clean your ICV for the reving of it.
yea i could try that. some times i try puting my foot down and it jerks like a bad miss fire and soon clears in a split second :s but it only happens when i put my foot on the accelerator.
im also sure its over fueling cuz it jerks at low speed like if i got a kangaroo petrol lol. so i think its using more fuel than it should... also if i drive at 60mph i drives like a dream just not at low revs

Has it got a FPR (adjusterble) fitted?

Cant see that it would be overfueling then unless something els is adrift.... Maybe lambda sensor but you could spend £££ on trying to find out.
what about the temp switch by the manifold? do u think that will cause it to over fuel.
also what about the throttle position censer? do u think its worth getting a new1 as i do know when the car is just on tick over i unplug the TPC and it dont make any difference at all then if i put it back in there still no difference
