hi ive just bought a full 2ltr 8v conversion from a claire (guiney) and i realised when i got home that my car has the dsu pack thingy for the leads and the 2ltr has the separte coil,ive got the engine harness etc but not the whole engine bay harness the question is,does the battery harness that unplugs next to the battery from claires car have the plug(s) on for the coil to plug into mine? or is it on another wiring loom,cant tell from pics!!!!

just i rang her and she is going to send me it,but just thought id check!!

the dis pack isnt as hard as it looks, its all done thro the ecu iirc the x5 plug by the battery is different, but to run the coil its and ign liveif you have the engine loom it will be easy to work out if you need to make any changes and if you do wot they will be

i dont quite understand what you mean?!

the engine i bought is out of an astra cabrio, so surely the wiring can be changed?

help!!

i think the plug i am on about is part of the engine wiring harness,am i right?

your right there should be a plug on the harness it may be taped up with the permenant live that got from the engine loom to the battery
