  • As long as it is a standard cat, it should have one, otherwise, it could be a flange gasket. Might be worth taking it to an exhaust place if you dont want to rip it apart. Then its their fault.
    Ah right. Umm, well my whole system downpipe back is custom, so it doesnt have an o ring. There is one between the downpipe and manifold though. Its made of steel and crushes into place.

    Yours is 16v, so should have a gasket between the cat and the down pipe, but not the centre section to cat. Got some blowing?
