i think it should be straight forward as the engine basically jus needs a 12v ignition feed to the pump to run and the glow plug circuit plumbing in but last time i checked the looms on the petrol jus had the glow plug loom cut down so half the job is done i jus didnt want to jump into the...

I've officially made a start on the astra today the rusty boot lid got the better of me and i had to do something about it
I also did away with the wiper as it barely cleared the rear window
this is the car when i first bought it
its not a bad thing its had a small patch welded on the O/S Sill near the wheel arch made a good job of it too, but other than that the car is solid and rot free

This my Thread for my 1997 Astra Merit Estate which im going to be turning into a GSi "lookalike" this a little side project to my corsa so progress may be slow but should be good.
i want the car to have;
5 stud turbo wheels
full GSi kit
288mm front brakes
GSi rear brakes...
lol i still don't know why i did it i think i was just bored lol but im after some new wheels for it and a gsi grill along with other bits and eventually an engine maybe V6 or a Saab Turbo Lump
