The rubber mounting base for the aerial where it sits on the rear quarter is in poor condition.I'm guessing it's a VX Aerial as i've had the car since it was 3 years old and have never touched it.Can i get a replacement rubber mount base or do i need to replace complete aerial.Anyone advise ?

Go in to Vaux and ask for a grommet,
Edit: Not relevant as I miss that it was a wing mounted one

So i can buy just the rubber grommet that sits around the base of the aerial which is fitted to nearside rear wing from vauxhall.

Part 12 you want and you can get it from vauxhall or Autovaux or even a auto factors I think
