As most of you will know, i swapped cars with astraandy.

I know my old one was mint and im sure some of you may be wondering why i did the deal.

Was for a couple of reasons really, i had always wanted an 8 valve, turbo technics conversion was a big bonus and i was getting ready for a change anyway.

When i initially did the deal, the car sat on Cav GSI wheels, which i was not a huge fan of on this particular car, so managed to straight swap them for some SRi fans.

The bumpers had also lost there red pinstripe, so that has been re instated.

As normal i have smoked the headlights, but couldn't manage to split the indy's, so the black ones are temporary.

Exhaust looked a mess, so thats had some silvo treatment and the main part of the box painted black.

Paintwork itself is rather impressive for an L reg. After claying and a good few passes with the meguires 3 stage, it has come up really really well.

Some of you with hawk eyes may notice the different rear spoiler. (i have skirts and rear splitter for sale if anyone is interested)

Plans for the future are, vauxhall mudflaps, stealth or subtle exhaust, indicators as stated, better dampers all round and possibly eibachs.

it has freed up alot since i first got it, goes really well now. torque is immense on it.
 
its no way near 200 and i didnt expect it to be either.

at an educated guess i would say its around 160-170bhp and a similar figure of torque
 
sounds like someone needs to get themselves to the RR day in september! You on the list?

yeah he left the nos in the sport and my god it went well :-)

to be honest the sport seems quicker to the top end.

0-60 is prob slower but it hits 125 quicker ;-)
 
well as long as you were both happy with the deal thats the main thing :thumb:
