1997 R Special Edition Astra GSi 3 Door in Glacier White

Introduction...
Sold my Astra Cesaro Turbo on ebay a few weeks ago. And im really really missing it. Decided to put another one together but keep will keep it simple this time.
My brief is to make it look like it rolled out of luton like that.
Standard looking engine bay, few small exterior mods and some Calibra Turbo Fanblades.
I want to hit a few weak spots on the astra with the suspension, brakes and the only modification planned to the engine is a Quaife LSD.
Id like the car to ride comfortably, so not too low and hence the 16" calibra wheels.
Will fit the Full Calibra Leather interior, and also have a view to keep the A/C system working, Heated Seats, Trip Computer etc...

The Story So Far...
Calibra Turbo bought and ready to be molested. Have a few bits available, PM me if theres anything anyone needs.
Done a deal on a standard Astra GSi, picking up this weekend.

Plans...
Get it all done and on the road within a week (Parents on holiday and wont appreciate the mess im going to make )

Shopping List...
Not much really. Between the Calibra and Astra i will make a good car out of the pair.

This is the Astra as it appeared on Ebay

I collected it Friday 7th from Windsor, just by legoland.

First things first, once i got home was to give the car a good washer over and inspect the bodywork etc..

Few scabs of rust showing here and there. Think ill give it a blow over once the engine is done.

Also, after hours of searching mk3oc and mig for info on keeping the A/C system operative.. i turned up to find that my astra didnt have A/C.

Had a quiet afternoon at the garage, so i started to fit the black leathers from the calibra.

would you sell the Gsi drivers seat on it own? i have a phase 2 and its got one of the normal high milage holes on the bolster. Totally undertsand if you want to keep the interior whole though.

i have front 5 stud legs to offer.

would like to sell the interior complete if possible.

going to drop the calibra engine out this weekend, having some calibra turbo wheels delivered on monday.. depending how the weekend goes i will also look at dropping the astra engine out and get cracking with the engine bay

Elgan - Andy72 is after your GSI drivers seat, and I'm after the rear seats, so between us I'm sure we could give you the figure you wanted for the complete set of seats and you would still have a spare gsi passenger seat to make more cash out of so you might end up making more cash than you originally wanted.

hello guys...

quick update, been on hols...

hmm.. not sure im feeling the wheels. they are painted in like a pearl and have 50 profile tyres... reckon they would look better in silver with tidy black turbo center caps and 45 profile tyres??

will take a daylight pic and maybe someone could photo shop one onto the front and lighten them up for me?

as for the seats,looks like i need to use the back metal parts on the calibra trim.. so all i have to offer for the back is the bottoms complete and the backs minus the metal plate? leave it with me.. just sussing fitting the rear seats atm.
