my xe oil pump keeps making a funny noise was told to clean the oil pressure valve because its getting stuck which i have done 3 times in the past 2 months and yet again its doing it again and i got to drive it to work 2moz any ideas why i keeps doing it it has had a recent oil change 2

might be the gears breaking down?
I personally would drive it, just ring SBD/Autovaux and get some new gears mate, there only about £50/£60 iirc from when i done mine.

SBD do a nylon pressure relief valve mate, maybe worth changing that and the pump gear while you are at it.
If you never want to touch the thing again, get a Z20LET pump with a modified pickup.
