Colour coded door handles

To colour code my door handles can I just take the black plastic ones off, sand them smooth, primer, paint and laquer?

Why do people use veccy handles?

ian you can do that to your exsisting handles but the vectra ones come ready smoothed and usually painted in the right colour for your car, which in the long run is quicker, cheaper and esier than painting your own.

so theres no actual difference between them them? (other than already being painted)

may give it a bash then as the astra aint going anywhere and if its too much hassle will just buy some veccy ones

Also ph1 astras and early ph2 astras have the flat handles so the veccy curved ones are a nice mod..

yeah the veccy ones are much nicer with the curve and also you can get them de-locked

the vectra handles suit the MK3 better well that's what i think as they smooth the look of the doors and DE-lock the passengers side so the relay up date's the exterior look
