As most of you know I'm now putting my Saab engine into my diesel van. Although I know the conversion pretty well I never factored doing it into a diesel. Looking for some does and dont's and some tips for converting fuels . Thanx in advance

Diesel to petrol what's required

Option 1. Clean out the tank of diesel and fit a cav gsi external fuel pump inline the fuel line.
Option 2. Fit an injection tank from a mpi estate and fuel lines.

pretty sure you need to change tank, lines, filter, pumps etc. big job
That's loads more than you need, you can do it just like Ron did with no issues
Yep i ran my 200bhp x25xe on a diesel tank with no problems at all. You just have to make sure all the diesel is out as diesel kills petrol pumps
I done the same, just used an in line fuel pump, filter and regulator on my diesel to c20xe conversion work fine, no point making extra work for yourself
Right thanks guys. Some good info there. I'm going to haul the tank of my 1.6 estate and I will have both options open to me then. Tank will be coming of the van to get painted anyway so will take it from there.
Was the estate a mpi?

yea that'll do the job nicely if you have it just kicking around. take the fuel lines and that too as it'll have the filter in too. depending on the tune of the saab lump it may want an uprated pump, but it will run it fine standard.
