Ok, so time to try put a owners diary together on here of the Evo6's replacement.
About a year ago, i received a call from a fellow MLR member (Mitsubishi Lancer Register), who was considering selling his White Evo5, with 30k miles on from new, naturally i was very interested as it sounded a very tidy car, and i have always wanted a white Evo.
Many emails later, the owner had a change of heart and decided to keep the car, so it was left at that.
However, a couple of months past and John got back in touch, so myself and Carly arrange to view the car.
At this point we still had the blue Evo6, and had hoped on having both.
Before we went to view, John asent across what pictures they had of the car, as it had been featured in Evolution magazine sometime ago.

Then when we went to view, i did not take many pictures at all, as the car was on axle stands in Johns garage, but it was clear to see it was a good one.

We left with myself and Carly having a think, and John also having a think.
Over the next week, we agreed a price.
Then a very long waiting game, as we were waiting on some money coming through, and as with all these things, it was not as easy as it should of been.
As things worked out, we were made a very good offer on our low mileage Evo6, in standard trim.
So we returned that car to 100% standard, and sold the car, and sold the parts separate.
So yesterday morning, we set off in the van, with the trailer on the back, to do the 12 hour round trip to collect the car.
I had put a few bits in the van, knowing the car was booked in at APT the following morning.

Then that night, when we got back, we were actually late for our own car meet (we organise a Retro & Classic car meet once a month), so quickly unloaded the Evo at home, drove to the end of our road to the meet, and then took it home, back on the trailer ready to go over to APT this morning.

(Yes the drive and fence are not finished :crackup
Got to APT nice and early.
Once Gary and Dan arrived we chatted about what needed doing.
Full service (all belts, fluids & filters)
Clutch & flywheel
Ride height adjustment
Geo set up
Dyno run
Mapping if needed
Plus a couple of little bits, like doors not locking on key fob etc
Gary wanted to get the height how i wanted before i left, so set about sorting that with the Enkei's fitted.
We also removed the awful rear reflector and had a good old poke around underneath.
