cheers lads. and kev i am thinking the same myself to be honnest never expected it to go that low. im going to fit 40 profile tyres back on and see how it looks then if still too much ill have to order new springs
Thats ace Mike. Ive been looking at these lately but i dont know enough about them. There are so many around with decent mileage but they seem to blow stem seals/turbos etc and burn oil starting around 70 to 80K? Bit green with envy mate, the car looks a beast!!
My friends put a reiger splitter on this bumper and VEC C side vents in it to, it would really suit this!
mines gone just passed 80k mate and don't use a drop of oil or water and i get no smoke from engine or turbo. to be honnest i cant realie fault it other than it likes the fuel at times. i was a bit in the dark with these but had a good deal on it so couldn't turn it away realie. if you was to get one mate there are that many out there just have a good look around a few and try and find one with good history. the weak points are the turbo's mainly but should be fine as long as the boost aint been wound up on the car.
not too sure what the reiger splitter looks like you got any pics mate? i was tempted to fit a laguna splitter as they are still flexable. as for side vents don't think i would have the b***s to start cutting my wings
Yh the turbo seals like to go due to oil pressure being too high, hence the restrictor bolt mod, mines got a 1500 mile old vxr unit on now and is spot on again so treated it to a fmic, great engine though
yeah think this has had the restricter bolt fitted. and i agree jim for what they fetch it is alot of car for the money as long as they have been looked after. i'm still sorting out problems the other owner let build up. so far iv had tracking done, new sump as the old one was like tracing paper and was seaping oil, full service as the oil was black and like water, and the plugs was letting gas through, 4 tyres, tomorrow its booked in to have a new flexi welded in as it's had the mid section bodged onto the down pipe, and then i'v just got to get 2 new driveshafts as cv's are clicking and can't buy just the inners?

hopefully by the end of the month i will have all the mechanical stuff sorted and will be able to get it booked in for a updated remap.
