Fitting Vectra chrome interior handles?

how do you remove the pivot pin that holds the chrome handle together? so that i can swap it onto the astras backing plate for it to fit properly

Yeah it's only a sprung pin it popes straight out, then goes straight on the mk3 backplates

One of those simple little things that make the interior look so much nicer
