removed my bumpstrips and badges last night, the cars looking better now. BUT. cant get rid of the damn glue that held them on. ive hairdryered it, put boiling water on it, tried white spirits and used intensive tar remover all with the same effect - minimal difference. it just wont budge whats the best solution?

Try with this rubber..this is special rubber for car stickers..

caramac wheel/caramel wheel, about £6 but will do the job in less than 10 mins, not a couple of hours, just gotta make sure all the dirt is removed from the glue first otherwise it'll scratch the paint

i used chewing gum remover and it took 5mins to do - after i left the glue there for 18months lol

took me around 2 hours for both sides and went through 3 cards lol

took me at least an hour to get most of it off and yep, went thru 2 cards before finding a shoe horn more useful. theres just a thin layer of it left now in patches ill have another go at it tmoz. the car already looks better without the badges and bump stiprs though so ill be satisfied when its clean of glue

petrol mate it melts the glue or white sprites then polish it.. also mer polish

if its just a thin layer that youve got left then tar remover and an old rag should do it, just keep at it mate :thumb:

that glue must b pretty stubborn..........
